CANCELED: Christian Community Talks and Services – February 2019

It is with regret that we must postpone again our visit from Jim Hindes this weekend.

Jim would have made every effort to come. He is just recovering from a workload that is more than he has reserves for right now.

We feel, as I am sure you do also, that his health is paramount, so we are releasing him from this weekend’s travels.

We are a seed of the Christian Community and we will carry that light until spring when we can hope for a visit in May.

Thank you for understanding.

The image of the human being based on the science of Anthroposophy gives rise to Self-education, our own ‘life writing’:

Please join us for an evening of exploration into an Imagination, Art and Conversation:

  • How can past rhythms in our life story help us prepare for the unfolding rhythms of our future story?
  • How can I awaken to the connections of the rhythms within my biography as they relate and connect to the biographical rhythms of others?

Special Performance – KASPAR HAUSER

The Sangre de Cristo Anthroposophy Group welcomes back Glen Williamson to Santa Fe.

Kaspar Hauser

The Open Secret of the Foundling Prince

Told by actor and storyteller Glen Williamson

A true story of an innocent boy
imprisoned in a dark cell
for most of his childhood.

In a journey through darkness
to light,
this tale explores what it means
to be human.

187 years ago a strange boy appeared on the streets of Nuremburg, barely able to stand, walk or speak. In Kaspar Hauser: The Open Secret of the Foundling Prince, historical facts and characters mix with a supernatural tale of a golden house, a wicked stepmother, and a boy kept in a dark cellar for most of his childhood. Who was he? And why does his story still affect us?

Created as an epic fairytale with historical interludes, this story includes inspiring spiritual pictures as well as the latest scientific research about one of 19th Century Europe’s most compelling figures.
